Our Golden Farms chickens are grown on Australian farms around the Bellarine Peninsula and are processed at Breakwater in Geelong, Victoria. As young chicks, they are placed in the care of our farmers and are looked after using the strict guidelines specified within the Australian Standards relating to hygiene and animal welfare.
Golden Farms Chickens come from farms which are contracted to grow chickens on our behalf. Birds are placed in the care of our farmers when they are 1 day old where they are cared for according to strict Australian Standards relating to hygiene and animal welfare.
Our farms are located in Victoria, mainly around Geelong on the Bellarine Peninsula.
